I saw somebody eat a Kit Kat...

...by unwrapping the foil and biting both sticks at once, not by sliding their finger down the Kit Kat Krevice and snapping their fingers apart to eat them separately.

Would I have been unreasonable to repeatedly punch then in the face while screaming "NO, NO, NO! THAT'S WRONG!!" until they lost conciousness?

My oh claims that at his work you can get eight fingered kitkats (we are in the states). My friend and I did not believe him so he is meant to be bringing one home tonight. It will feel wrong but in a good way.

ObviouslyOblivious · 06/06/2012 21:51

:o

BellaBearisWideAwake · 06/06/2012 21:53

EIGHT fingers?!?!?! That's like, ... TWO HANDS!!!

MrsKwazii · 06/06/2012 21:54

You can do the TimTam thingamhoogy with a Penguin too (or a supermarket-own brand Penguin substitute of course Wink)

TiggyD · 06/06/2012 21:58

"Kit Kat bars contain varying numbers of fingers depending on the market, ranging from the half-finger sized Kit Kat Petit in Japan, to the three-fingered variants in Arabia, to the twelve-finger family-size bars in Australia and France." - Wiki.

12 fingers! Fucking hell!

Check out the Japanese variations! here

I like eating the toes of monster munch first. I'm also a crisp-flavour-licker-offer. I have recently discovered the Co-op's own brand sea salt and chardonnay wine vinegar crisps which, although poncily named, are the most salty and vinegary crisps I've had for years. Those and beef and mustard brannigans are responsible for my sore tongue. SmileBlush

And love twix straws.

TitsalinaBumSquash · 06/06/2012 22:02

Half finger ..... What's the point? Confused

TitsalinaBumSquash · 06/06/2012 22:03

I lick cheesy Doritos and Pringles. Beef monster munch always get the toes nibbled off first.

Oppsididitagain · 06/06/2012 22:07

i am so traumatised by the very idea of this that i now need to have a nice sit down and a cup of tea, well i would but some old git nicked my best teaspoon.

surely there must be someone that you can report your sister to perhaps a person who she trusts and would feel able to give her an oh so dearly needed intervention, and quickly befor she slips any further into the depths of depravity. one day its two kitkat fingers next day its snapping twix's in half befor you know it she will be chasing traffic cones or drug running

i really feel for you and admire you coming forward to talk about it, the shame of it but rest assured with propper help and the correct support its not always untreatable

trixymalixy · 06/06/2012 22:10

Penguins are the best biscuits for drinking tea through, fact!!

PfftTheMagicDraco · 06/06/2012 22:11

KitKats are horrid

LetUsPrey · 06/06/2012 22:12

I use chocolate fingers sometimes as a straw for tea drinking. Bite a bit off each end, suck the tea up through the biscuit, and then eat the melting, crumbling finger.

I also lick flavour off crisps.

I have a specific routine for eating Ferrero Rocher (?sp)

DH opens the large bars of Dairy Milk with scissors. It's a good job he can cook.

rainydaysarebad · 06/06/2012 22:16

Wow I have an urge to eat a kitkat whole like that now. It's been too long slicing the foil down the middle and then breaking the choc in half and thinking "have a break, have a kitkat". Time for a change.

MorrisZapp · 06/06/2012 22:20

Scissors all the way for me, ever since choccy wrappers got switched from paper to foil.

I hate that uneven top you get by ripping a corner off.

Anybody else remember paper choccy wrappers? They used to actually melt if you ate the bar disgustingly enough.

Serendipity30 · 06/06/2012 22:38

bwahaha this made me spit out my tea Grin , there's no point doing something if your not going to do it proper sniff

Serendipity30 · 06/06/2012 22:46

does anyone else pull apart the Oreo lick the creamy bit in the middle then dunk the biscuits individually in a Brew . My brother just bought me and the kids a pack today Grin

CatholicDad · 06/06/2012 23:25

Yes, just a bit. I personally would not dream of eating a two-fingered Kit Kat in that way - but only because they are too small to bother with. I do like proper size Kit Kats though and I always eat them by peeling the wrapper then biting into the end. The idea of running your finger along the foil etc is something I will not, possibly cannot contemplate.

It's all about having a good, satisfying bite. This is the same reason why I won't buy a Yorkie bar unless the WHOLE bar is intact and no chunks have separated from the bar. (Same with a Kit Kat, while we are on the subject.)

Finally, Mars Bars have to be kept at below room temperature. This is inarguable.. yes?

Charliefox · 06/06/2012 23:34

All chocolate has to be just a smidge under room temperature. It's the law. Anyone who eats chocolate cold from the fridge should be hung, drawn and quartered.

Pixieonthemoor · 06/06/2012 23:34

Slitting the foil of a kit kat by sliding your fingernail between the fingers is one of life's GREAT luxuries.

Empusa · 06/06/2012 23:39

"Slitting the foil of a kit kat by sliding your fingernail between the fingers is one of life's GREAT luxuries."

Definitely Grin

ItWasABoojum · 06/06/2012 23:41

I had a friend at primary school who used to eat kitkats like that. She once offered me half of hers, and instead of giving me a finger she BROKE THE BAR IN HALF CROSSWAYS! Even aged 5 I knew she was committing some dreadful social faux pas. Now of course I know her real mistake was not sucking a cup of hot tea up through it first.

lydiamama · 06/06/2012 23:43
