Christ, they're all having to walk and drive round it!

The queen's a horsey type. I'm sure she doesn't mind.

It will soon wash away next time it rains. Well worth it for all the gorgeous horses on show.

JubileeFraggle · 05/06/2012 12:49

Nothing wrong with it, I've picked it up with my bare hands before as sometimes there is a bit that just won't go on the shovel no matter how many times you try :o As long as you wash them properly afterwards it isn't a problem. I wouldn't do that with cat or dog though.

BelieveInPink · 05/06/2012 12:56

I don't mind the poo per say, it's just a bit off putting watching all these regal horses, cars and men dodging round it. :o

Can you imagine the uproar from 1.5 million people if the cops/security said sorry folks, you can't get down to see the Queen on the balcony or the fly-past until we've cleaned all the sh*t off the mall?

I was there, believe me it smelt nicer and not half as bloody awful as all the dog muck you have to avoid on the pavements of London on a daily basis.

Avoiding dog dirt should become an official Olympic sport. Londoners would win gold every time.

Cant they just bus in a few unemployed people from Bath or Jersey to do scoop it up for free?

OutragedAtThePriceOfFreddos · 05/06/2012 23:06

They did clean the big bits away apparently before they let everyone walk down the mall. But there was still loads that had been flattened and it stank! Ds1 has a strong sense of smell and he really didn't like it. But the planes over our heads cheered him up! Grin
