Even though I can't really afford it?

After all I don't get to out or spend money on having a life.
Also it was at a discount price, so I couldn't resist and it is beautiful stuff.

Depends what you mean by "I couldn't afford it", is that oops, can't save as much as I usually do or OMG have spent the electricity money/ can't repay what I owe?

If the first, then of course YANBU to treat yourself if it makes you feel good. If the second, then of course YABU not to sort out your priorities.

Just make sure you wear it, otherwise its a waste. I have some lovely clothes but I worry so much about spilling something on them or ruining them that they stay in the wardrobe and I continue to wear the same old things over and over. Stupid really, just can't get past the idea of keeping things for best.

I left my job but saved a little bit of cash for emergencies, so I didn't use the money for bills or anything, but still, it could be used for lots of other important things.
I shall indeed wear it as it's beautiful but very "wearable".
I can't wait to get it!
