They cut away early so they could go to the news.....where the lead story was the concert!

And mix with people like that? Dahhling!

YANBU. The fireworks/lighting of Buck Palace were by far the best things about the concert. that I didn't get to see them all.

The BBC coverage of the whole thing had been a mess. The only thing they got right was the Charles home movie documentary.

As usual, the BBC proves they are held together with bailing wire and duct tape! The sound was horrid at the concert as well.

And don't get me started on the boats! They had bloody numbers on- how hard would it have been to tell us something about some of them?

The other thing that was really annoying was that I wanted to watch the 10pm news so I switched to the BBC NEWS channel and all I got was reports about the bloody concert and beacon lighting and stuff like that! What happened in the rest of the world yesterday??? The advantage of having several digital channels SHOULD be that they can show different things! Bastards.

Yep, I was pretty pissed off too but to be honest I don't think we missed that much. I think we got to see the majority of it.

But with fireworks, the finale always the best and most spectacular bit!

So they had live coverage of every tedious moment of the river thing and missed the firework finale?
