Wow Krumbum, you can enjoy the monarchy without being a horrible person, you know. Personally I don't agree with them, but if other people do, that's fair enough. I imagine most people just enjoy the spectacle rather than actively support them.

What other reason would there be for being a royalist?

Like I said, some people like the spectacle, some people enjoy having a tradition that links them to the past, some people just aren't arsed about politics, some people like that it makes our country a little different and brings in tourism.

You'd be hard-pushed to find a Tory in Scotland, yet I wouldn't say many people hate the monarchy. A lot are indifferent, some support them, some hate them.

Being a monarchist/not bothered isn't a right-wing thing.
