I love these little outfits, but sell them individually! (I know you can get a 3 pack in some shops but not all)

Not every little baby has a Daddy :( I might be being over sensitive because my Dad died when I was small. But everytime I see these as a twin I think, ouch, that might have just reminded someone of something painful.

YANBU.

BigHRHFlowers · 01/06/2012 20:47

YANBU in the slightest. Hate them too.

minimisschief · 01/06/2012 20:50

just because the childs dad died or isnt around doesnt mean they cant love them. these things are everywhere its going to remind people anyway.

Kayano · 01/06/2012 20:55

Well selling them individually doesn't really solve the 'some people may be upset' problem as they will still be there in the shop.

Not every baby has a mummy either.

I don't think there is anything wrong with selling these as
An option.

I have a pin on my bag saying 'I live my cat' someone somewhere may be upset ecause their cat died.

I can't live my life worrying about everyone else's potential situations. Everyone loses someone at some point

whatwhatinthewhatnow · 01/06/2012 20:59

But if you could only buy a I heart Mummy t-shirt that came with an I heart Daddy t-shirt, that would be a bit shit, right? Not just if Daddy had died but if he'd run off with someone or didn't want to know or any other not nice scenario.

Im not saying seeing these things will upset hoards of people. But in isolated area's you cant always get the ones that come individually.

I heart my Cat doesnt come with a I fucking hate Cats badge as a twin pack.

It would be better to be able to buy them separately, yes.

tittytittyhanghang · 01/06/2012 21:02

I have seen these type items sold individually all over the place. So i dont really see the problem. YABU.

AmazingBouncingCorgi · 01/06/2012 21:04

Mothercare sell them individually, so do M&S. Can't seem to find any at John Lewis though.

GnocchiNineDoors · 01/06/2012 21:05

They annoy tge hell out of me but thats because most of them dont popper down the front...just at the bottom. Awkward.

whatwhatinthewhatnow · 01/06/2012 21:08

I get most of our stuff in asda and tesco. Perhaps that is where I am going wrong! Our mothercare just shut but it was expensive anyway.
