I spent last night creating an iTunes playlist cunningly entitled

Clean the House Bitch.

I have spent my time today when dd has been sleeping downloading and adding to it.

My house is still minging and I am sitting in mess thinking of the best track to clean a kitchen too...

Sounds like me. I have endless lists to keep the house neat and clean. All tucked away in the muck.
Retail therapy is good too. Go to Ikea etc and drool over everything and imagine it in my house - if I can get around to cleaning it of course.

I found the best way to get round to cleaning the house is when you have a deadline for an assignment. Then suddenly cleaning becomes urgent and really important. I even get my spice rack and cd's in alphabetical order then.
