To have expected my DH's business stuff to have been cleared from the house by now?

At the beginning of September, yes, September he said that he was going to get some self-storage to store all his self-employed stuff. There are literally boxes of CDs, props etc in the cupboards and in the front room.

This was pre-DD who is now 6 months old and at some point we will be moving into the front room and DD will have our bedroom. It's not a huge place and I would kind of like to give DD the room to move around in.

So AIBU to be expecting it to have been done by now?

Does he have somewhere else to put it? Is the alternative to put it into storage which you would have to pay for?

My suspicious is that it is at home is due to costs rather than anything else.

Do I think YABU? I think you are if your only consideration is your living space and you've given no consideration to why he put it there in the first place and haven't thought about the cost of storing it elsewhere.

I would say though, that he could be like my boss and a bit of a hoarder too though. Is everything he has necessary?

I don't think that September is too long either. Its just one of those things you have to live with somehow.

YANBU...men and their bloody clutter....

Yes he has to pay for storage but it was agreed that he would get some self-storage.

My consideration here is that before it was just us two and now there's also DD who rather soon will be crawling and I really don't want her to be bumping into speakers and getting tangled up in electrical wires.

If that was the agreement, unless your finances prevent it, he needs nagging then!
