Just curious.
No judgement on my part.
I had surgery on Monday and am signed off work this week and so have spent vastly more time on here (mostly reading but some posting) than I normally would.

I notice that many of the same people are here posting regularly throughout the day and night and seem to be able to respond to many many threads and my mind boggles as to how you find the time

I am nosey.

Go on, tell me to fuck off and mind my own business Grin

its easy finding the time for mn...its hard though finding the time for housewoekGrin

LentillyFart · 31/05/2012 10:59

Maybe they don't work. Maybe they can't work. Maybe they work from home. Maybe it's their lifeline.

I don't really want to tell you to fuck off but I think perhaps a little bit of minding your own might not go amiss!

FunnyLovesTheJubilee · 31/05/2012 10:59

I work, I find the time between working!

Spice17 · 31/05/2012 10:59

FOAMYOB! No course not.

I'm at work and 5 and a half months pregnant, so I always pop onto here when I have a spare 5 mins or I have a massive panic that I don't know anything about what I should do with a baby!

Shakey1500 · 31/05/2012 11:00

I'm here off and on. Do a bit of housework, make cuppa and MN. Repeat as necessary Grin

bumbleymummy · 31/05/2012 11:00

Stuck in bed for most of the day! It's the only thing keeping me (reasonably) sane. :)

TheUnMember · 31/05/2012 11:00

I only really lurk in AIBU, so what you see here isn't a small part of my posting, it's all of it. Plus I'm at home all day (no children) so browse for 5 minutes, post a reply or two, then go and do something else for an hour, then repeat.

whyme2 · 31/05/2012 11:00

I know I spend way too much time on here and if you could see my house you realise that.

TrinityIsAFuckingRhino · 31/05/2012 11:01

I'm just mainly shite and should be doing others things

TheSurgeonsMate · 31/05/2012 11:01

I don't have enough work on. It's very Sad.

WorraLiberty · 31/05/2012 11:01

Same as Shakey

I've spent the entire week decorating the spare bedroom and still find time to MN between the coats drying Grin

CaptainKirk · 31/05/2012 11:01

I'm unemployed and my boy is still in nursery in case that I eventually find work, or until we run out of money and pull him out and I become a SAHD. Then I'll be on MN while he tears the house apart...

DamnBamboo · 31/05/2012 11:02

Hmmmm, you seem to have missed the no judgement part of my post lentilly

A little bit sensitive perhaps?

AIBU a lifeline? I don't think so... most of what is posted in here is clearly not for those in dire need of help and if it is, some kind soul usually suggests having the thread moved.

Ithinkitsjustme · 31/05/2012 11:02

If my house is anything to go by then some of us don't find time to do everything, but it's all a case of priorities. If I hoover today then my floor will need hoovering again tomorrow, but if I miss a thread.....Shock

FartBlossom · 31/05/2012 11:03

dont know really just do. Im currently job hunting and feel a bit embarrassed about the time I spend on here. I only come on for a bit at a time. I will sit down for 10 mins and have a quick check at threads Im on, if I have a bit more time, I will go into active convos like now. DD2 has just gone for a nap, DS and DD1 are at school so I have a bit of time to have a look on here. Also I have no life so dont have anything better to do.

WheresMyCow · 31/05/2012 11:03

I work at the same time...honest Grin

Hullygully · 31/05/2012 11:03

Two screens

DamnBamboo · 31/05/2012 11:04

I like your style shakey Grin

My youngest is far too quick and when I get up to go and do something, I often find Cbeebies on my screen when I return.

HeathRobinson · 31/05/2012 11:05

Well people don't sit all day at MN, do they.
You post, go and do something, pop back, do something else, go out, come back later...

Cockwomble · 31/05/2012 11:06

While files take HOURS to load and do what they need to do at work I post inbetween.

DamnBamboo · 31/05/2012 11:07

Lucky you Hully My employer blocks sites like this, can't even go on it during lunch break they have a list of barred ones... and MN is at the top.

Can't bear browsing on a phone so alas that's me stuffed during the day for some lighthearted reading

OP posts:
NettoSuperstar · 31/05/2012 11:08

I don't work due to disability, for the same reason I don't do much housework, DD does it, and we keep it tidyish as we go along.
Current anxiety/panic attacks mean I rarely leave the house, so MN and True Life Movie channel it is!
Hopefully things will improve soon and I'll be able to get out more.

tethersend · 31/05/2012 11:09

I have a new baby.

I've had two hours sleep.

WOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

DamnBamboo · 31/05/2012 11:09

mn first thing in the morning with coffee while eating breakfast.

mn with coffee just before picking ds up from nursery (20 mins ish)

mn after lunch with a coffee then play with ds.

mn after bedtime. single parent no baby sitters (ds would not cope and neither would they) it is my lifeline to the outside world.
