We are having a few marital problems at the moment but we are talking and trying to sort things out
I had 2 go the hospital this morning for a check up and he hasn't mentioned it since I got back, I just feel like he doesn't care
Do u ask yr other half how something like that has gone or do u wait to be told?
Ive no idea if. Im being unreasonable or not tbh

Personally of course I would ask. Does your DH know/remember you were going? My DH would def ask too but if it was for something minor, say a tooth or something, he may forget I was going as his hearing is quite selective sometimes.

Perhaps you're reading too much into this due to the stress of the problems you're having-would he normally ask about things like this?-my hubby wouldn't unless it was for something major-it's just how he is so I wouldn't wait for him to ask.

As someone with a loyalty card in the local orthopaedic department, my dp would much prefer me to initiate any discussions on "how it went". Not that he is at all uncaring or disinterested but he prefers not to open the floodgate of fucking and blinding that usually follow an appointment.

In your case, OP. I'd have come home and told your dh about how the appointment went. That way he'd have known and you wouldn't be reading too much into his silence.

He might just have forgotten with all the marital problems you are having?

Thanks, it was a check up following quite a serious health scare. He has just asked me so I dont no if he's been on here this afternoon!

I'm glad he asked....must have been very worrying.
