I think it is crap.

I'd never trust anyone who says that their favourite biscuit is a Wagon Wheel. Totally untrustworthy.

QuicheMeQuick · 29/05/2012 10:18
Biscuit
Lovelynewboots · 29/05/2012 10:18

Is this the question that was the downfall of Gordon Brown?

EccentricaGallumbits · 29/05/2012 10:35

Flipping rubbish.

I said i wasn't picky.

I don't hold out much hope of being offered the bloody job.

Its a stupid question probably thought up by some cheesy wank in a suit who thought it was cool and edgy.

OldGreyWiffleTest · 29/05/2012 10:41

I would have said......Shortbread - slightly salty, sweet and with a bit of bite, just like me !

Jins · 29/05/2012 10:43

I rather like it as a question. Especially in the context it was asked.

It says we've heard all you've got to say and we aren't interested any more.

EccentricaGallumbits · 29/05/2012 10:43

I followe it up with. I like a jammy dodger.

Theres no hope is there?

OP posts:
EccentricaGallumbits · 29/05/2012 10:43

It was the first sodding question.

thebody · 29/05/2012 10:43

I don't eat biscuits!

Jins · 29/05/2012 10:45

Oh - you were actually asked it in an interview? I missed that and thought you meant the Gordon Brown thing

Yes it's a bit of a tricky one that

Frontpaw · 29/05/2012 10:46

Is it possible NOT to eat biscuits?

GnocchiNineDoors · 29/05/2012 10:48

I'd have said Digestive. It is, afterall, the Marine of biscuits - "dunk me again!" and can stand numerous dunks into hot liquid and still stays strong

Grin
thebody · 29/05/2012 10:49

Yes front paw, I don't like the associated fat do just don't eat them.

Frakiosaurus · 29/05/2012 10:49

It's quite a nice ice-breaker. Maybe they genuinely wanted to know what to get for you to have with your tea? Biscuit Or do you prefer coffee? Or do you not have an opinion on that either?

I bet the other candidates have their response to that worked out well in advance Wink

EccentricaGallumbits · 29/05/2012 10:50

Grrrrrrrrr.

I'm utterly crap at interviews

OP posts:
storminabuttercup · 29/05/2012 10:52

Was the interview at 'fox's bisquits?'

If so it's a good question

PrincessFiorimonde · 29/05/2012 11:29

I guess they asked because they wanted to find out if you're a Mumsnetter. Because everyone knows that Gordon Brown failed to answer that question during a webchat.

Except that the question was never actually passed on to him.
As you can see.
