No one.

No one.

It's a job that is on the list OfThingsIWillGetRoundToPerhaosNever for mist nornal people. Wink

There's obviously a lot more organised people out there than I envisaged.

I just did all mine a few weeks ago while stuck to the sofa bf ds2. A folder per year then separate ones in each year for occasions or time of year depending on how many photos were taken when. They are all on the computer, on the back up drive and stored on one of those photo websites.

I attacked older printed out photos in a fit of nesting before the boy was born. A photo box each for me and dh. Random crap photos chucked out (but all negatives kept so not lost forever and then photos in rough date order in the boxes.

Next job is to buy some frames!

HecateTrivia · 29/05/2012 12:23

nobody who created the wunk and routinely types things like mist nornal has any business deciding who's normal and who's not

Before I went digital all my photo albums are organised by scenario and date (yes I am that sad)

Now it is the same but they are on the laptop Grin

whackamole · 29/05/2012 12:29

All of my photos are arranged artfully on the computer.

The toys is my house are mainly in the 'fling them onto a heap and hope it sticks' variety.

Can someone come and organise me?

get0rfm0iland · 29/05/2012 12:30

I LOST all my photos.

The most devastating thing - when I moved a couple of years ago, I had a load of boxes of old crockery and crap to take to the tip, and some other boxes (clearly marked, DP, all you had to do was look) filled with photo albums and pics in frames from the sitting room. You can imagine what happened. The wrong box was taken to the tip.

That means I have NO photos of DD when she was a baby, all I have from when she was young is one with my next door neighbour holding her when she was a few days old (can't see dd in it at all) and one when she was in the bath when she was 18 months old. There are a few from when she was older but I have no record of what dd looked like as a baby, which is heartbreaking, and a bit shit for dd as well. My mother has got copies of photos from when she was young, but won't let me have them. Sad and Angry

HecateTrivia · 29/05/2012 12:33

she won't even let you borrow them to scan into your computer, getorf? That's so mean.

OhdearNigelosaurus · 29/05/2012 12:35

Mine are immaculately labelled in proper folder groups (cakes, Dd, holidays by location, home, events, miscellaneous, rotary). They then have subfolders...

...In my head

OhdearNigelosaurus · 29/05/2012 12:40

life I took 200 photos on a day out in Brighton last week. Digital just makes it so easy..

QuintessentialShadows · 29/05/2012 12:41

I dont own a single Phot.

So, therefore in total order!

get0rfm0iland · 29/05/2012 12:50

No Hecate - I started a thread about it years ago, we don't speak but dd still goes there to visit, and she wouldn't let dd take them to be copied or scanned (my mother doesn't own a scanner, she wouldn't let dd take them out the house).

HecateTrivia · 29/05/2012 13:15

How horrible of her.
