i am the woman who has her books organised by genre and within that, by size and who has her children's toys organised by category. (cars in one box, ben10 in one box, etc and a set of drawers labelled gogos, gormiti, bits & bobs (that one kills me but there has to be somewhere for all the stuff that doesn't go with anything else to go) then there's the clay bucket and the transformers shelf and the games organised by type...

I have 1996 to 2000 in albums.

2000 to 2011 on portable hard drive
2012 on my camera.

Mine are sorted on the computer in date order. A new folder per month, and different folders as per subject matter. My subject matter these days is almost exclusively DD. For each year, I have a 'favourites' folder, too.

I take my photos Very Seriously.

Mine are all in digital form. One day they will be as incomprehensible as a VHS cassette. I need to get them printed.

fun? fun is not the point when we moved the bookcases downstairs it actually kept me awake knowing they were just randomly shoved back on the shelves. I had to go downstairs and put them right

Oooh, what will I do with the 37p? My photos are all in albums up to about Feb this year. The only reason they aren't more up to date is that I have to wait until I have enough on the camera to get the cheapest printing cost.

righto. My photos. 2 types - those that are on the computer and those that are actual photos.

computer first. In files. Each file is a different type or occasion, eg a family wedding, or a trip. 'us', which is me, my husband and the children, family, which is general family members - no occasion. and so on and so forth. Then there's the work photos, organised by village and within that by event (you'd have to know my work for that to make any sense)

Hard copy photos, my eldest son has an album of photos of him, likewise my youngest. Then there's the album of them together. Then there's the one of pics of my niece, then there's our wedding - the official album and the one of all the shots taken during the day. There's the family in Kenya album, there's the friends album.

The children's album starts with their scan photos and goes forward from there.

I could go on, but I think you probably get the picture.
