Wowzers that trailer is very va va voom. I'll definitely go to see it though, and in 3D! Baz Luhrman for me though is very hit and miss.

Shame Tobey Maguire is in it, his range is so limited. He always does that 'Aw shucks, me?' face.

CrispyCod · 28/05/2012 17:13

I can't believe they're making us wait so long!

Shinyshoes1 · 28/05/2012 17:17

I thought the Great Gatsby was a train Blush
That looks fab. I'll definitely be seeing that

MarianForrester · 28/05/2012 17:17

I know, I thought it was out in the summer! Plus I have nice Gatsby inspired summer dress and was planning to wear that to see it Grin And I never go to the cinema, as usually can't be bothered with films.

Wil need to do (fake) fur and hat for seeing it now...

So, no, YANBU

squoosh · 28/05/2012 17:50

Aw Amazing I always welll up at the 'Daddy, my Daddy' bit.

Itsgottabebags · 29/05/2012 22:01

YBU I watched the trailer the other day and I was totally underwhelmed by it. Think I would prefer to see the old version of the film.

squoosh · 30/05/2012 10:25

Just not the 1970's version, that was awful.

GrahamTribe · 30/05/2012 10:29

Hmmm. I rather liked the Redford/Farrow film and loved the book, what I saw in my mind's eye appeared in the film often so I'm not sure how I'll take to the new version.

NoraHelmer · 30/05/2012 12:44

Another fan of the Redford/Farrow version here :o Love the novel, and loved the film too. Will definitely check out the new version as well though.

elizaregina · 30/05/2012 12:58
