YABU as you shouldn't squeeze spots. They should be left alone,sqeezing them can cuase infections.

You are kinda being unreasonable.

1. Spots really shouldn't be squeezed. Put some cream to cover them up if necessary, but squeezing them spreads germs through pus and it can cause infections.

1. Is giving money to a child to do anything except from a predetermined chore like cleaning the car or washing the dishes aka like a mini job really a way to get your kids to let you do things? It's setting off a bad trend. Soon you'll have to pay her to let you clean her room. I mean, seriously.

Ooh I love spot squeezing. Love blackheads and whiteheads too. Unfortunately I have very clear skin. I am actually thinking of getting some halogen lights in my bathroom as I was told by a very good authority on another thread that they show up all sorts of imperfections not visible to the naked eye!

My ex had the most wonderful blackheads on the back of his calves. Many a hour was spent squeezing them!

I honestly don't believe anyone who says spots should not be squeezed.

Yes they shouldn't be squeezed before they're 'ripe'

But when they're bursting out then yes they should definitely have the pus squeezed out and by the next day, they'll be almost gone.

I never get spots...yet the other week I felt a pain in the middle of my back and when I asked DH to have a look, he said it was a huge 'over ripe' spot.

He said when he squeezed it at first, the pus was rock hard and had formed a blockage

But he squeezed and got rid of it all...it was fine the following day.

Actually, I have just discovered a spot on my shoulder blade that guttingly I have no chance of being able to squeeze. I offer it to anyone who'd like it...

I prefer a nice big blackhead. Or the soapy goo that you can get out of ear piercings which haven't been used for a while.

Our Ds used to see the dermatologist regularly his acne was pretty bad, the Doc said to clean his face, then clean a pin, and release the pressure before giving a gentle squeeze then clean and apply his cream. Ewwww!!
