ds1 is 10 and played a tag rugby tournament today for his school, they didnt win, the school that did played a 12 year old (whos now in high school) whos just been signed to wigan adult rugby club, all the other kids were 9/10, was that fair?

Nope. But that's pie-eaters for you

WorraLiberty · 26/05/2012 22:52

Probably not but a team is more than just one child.

Sirzy · 26/05/2012 22:54

Would depend on the rules of the competition. If they stated the children had to be 12 or under your being unreasonable, if they had to still be at primary school YANBU.

Probably not but meh!

Ime there are usually strict rules that children should not play older children in a particualr age group. It's particularly important in rugby because it's so physical but as this was tag the rules may be a little different. If your information is correct that would be very unfair but I'm not sure what you could or should do. Perhaps tell your ds to put it down to experience?
