The man auditing and interviewing me appears to have a wad of blu tac in his ear ?? WTF

Its most disconcerting and I cant stop looking at it. What could it be ? Why is it there ?

Nooooo its a wax earplug - i have perforated my eardum and have been told to use a wax plug for flying nad getting my ear wet (as in it needs to be kept dry) i will find the link!!!

I have earplugs which I use when staying in hotels - they're called BioEars and are basically like clearish blu-tack. You stick them in your ears and it's amazing, you can't hear anything!

I think they are also used by competitive swimmers and people with infections.
