To be secretly delighted that this twat got kicked out?

My next door neighbours are doing some building work. They are nice people. They are friends with the local twat, who is an annoying arsehole. He's been in their house drinking their beer over seeing the work being done and is loud and sweary and spends his time making crude remarks at me whilst I'm in the garden with my DC.

Yesterday one of the builders lost it with him and said he wasn't finishing the work until the arsehole was gone. A row kicked off as the arsehole was drunk and the builders walked off. He's now been banned from next door, meaning I can once again enjoy my garden Grin .

the builders would do an even better job for your neighbours for a tray of cupcakes :o

Tokamak · 25/05/2012 11:14

he was hanging over the wall miaowwing at me

He needs a trip to the vet....

Hassled · 25/05/2012 11:15

Yes the builders would LOVE cupcakes. Keep them onside. And don't be secretive about your joy - go out beaming :o

We had a drunk window cleaner once. He used to have a cold beer waiting for him in half the houses in the area. It was half funny, half terrifying when he got up the ladders. Shock

He used to tell me he liked my hair. Confused

FreeBirdsFlying · 25/05/2012 11:23

I have to say the builders were very sympathetic and kept asking me was I alright with his ''attention'' and I mentioned that it would be no great loss if he got buried under the extension.
Lovely batch of cakes gone into the oven, and a bbq planned for this afternoon.

Aw - this thread has made me smile! Grin

Go Builders! They looked out for you and that was nice - they deserve cupcakes. And you sound like a lovely neighbour too!

He "miaoowed" at you??? Did he do any other animal noises??

doormat · 25/05/2012 11:38

aww nice one birds...hate it when others come into the street etc and take over

last year our neighbours brother who was a loudmouth would sit outside all day gobbing off waking up my dh and next door who both worked nights...he would park his car in awkward positions where we and the neighbours couldnt get out....in the end we all clubbbed together and blocked him in....

he came knocking on both our doors but he got ignored...he got the message and hasnt been bk sinceGrin

FreeBirdsFlying · 25/05/2012 11:40

Not that I heard Salmotrutta . I don't understand the miaowwing myself.

Aah, the builders sound lovely and you do too. Enjoy the weather in your garden.

Ugh miaowing, reminds me of George Galloway in CBB. Not a nice thought.
