I didn't even know she had done recent stuff! I love her, so YANBU. My ex was besotted with her and introduced me to a lot of her music. In particular I love Army Dreamers and this Woman's Work (sob!)

Actually, I was just about to post this and then I started watching the video and listening to the words. Haven't heard it in a good few years and now, as a grown up it makes a bit more sense. Or at least, I've now got my own interpretation of it.

YANBU. I love her.

YANBU - I would love it if she toured again - the greatest singer songwriter ever! I think Aerial and 50 words are more introspective and you need to be in a certain mood or place to get into them. I love Lake Tahoe and Snowflake. I do think she repeats herself a bit which is probably inevitable though she does not do this as much as some others.

I also didn't like The Dreaming at first but its now one of my favourites. Some things are not as immediate as Wuthering Heights/Babooshka.

Oh Gwendoline, I absolutely adore that video. I haven't seen it before but I love it.

Whenever I ask people in their 50s/60s whether they like her they say "oh, screechy voice" (?? no!) or "yeah love her!" and then it turns out they only know WH.
If I ever have a kiddy she'll be having Kate Bush in the womb and all thru the day.
