How do you do a blank post?

IAmNotACowbag · 24/05/2012 15:38

Of course it's bloody well not. Who'll finance cancer patients if we went around giving it away?

chugginalong · 24/05/2012 15:39

Dunno, it just worked.

Well exactly cowbag, exactly... and I've got my hands on my hips too so I must be right.
Sniff..

There's enough biological powder out there looking for a cupboard-under-the-sink to live in. I'm all about giving that space to some Non Bio powder.

AmnesiaCustard · 24/05/2012 15:45

Non-bio powder used to be the norm. Now it's all about the bio stuff.
My heart goes out to Woolite.

Can someone please explain to me why people post "joke" threads like this? Are you taking the piss? Just being sarcastic? Making fun of the post and opinions on the other thread? Trying to have an innocent laugh?

Seriously, I'm not passing judgement, just really curious.

MrsShortfuse · 24/05/2012 17:44

I was just surfing the web and came across this but I'm gonna be bold and just keep looking out my windaz.

Can't think of a way to get Persil into the sentence

It's cheaper to supply than the Olympics that's for sure. It pays its own taxes too.

startail · 24/05/2012 17:59

I guess people are taking the piss, but that's because there is no right answer to the original thread only opinions.

After a while the opinions have been recycled so often, light relief is needed.

Having had DSIS in tears today about never having DCs light relief is appreciated.

loveisagirlnameddaisy · 24/05/2012 17:59

CaptainKirk I think the point is to undermine the OP of the other thread. While the subject matter of the other thread is serious, it's a thread that should never have been started in the way it was started. Debate the issues, fine, but do it in a humane way.

I think that's the point of threads like these.

startail · 24/05/2012 18:02

Oh and don't get Stergene on your parents car carpet. It rots holes in it!

I was Two and they said hold that and don't fiddle with the lid.

Honestly, 2 and don't fiddle

Dawndonna · 24/05/2012 18:14

I quite liked the smell of Dreft.
I'm really bloody old!

pointythings · 24/05/2012 18:22

I think everyone who has eczema has a right to a good old flare-up every so often, so yes, we do have a right to biological powder. Even if it does rot holes in us.

chugginalong · 24/05/2012 18:34

Sorry if anyone feels I'm making light of another thread's subject. I'll come clean (ha ha). Just ill off wk and on here all day. The subject material is particularly poignant to me and tbh I feel upset every time I see the other thread title. The spirit in which it was written was particularly mean.

Aribura · 24/05/2012 19:12

YABU because me me me I want I want I want biological powder!!! Even though if I can't pay for powder then there's no way I can afford the laundrette anyway. So everyone has to think exactly the same as me because I'm "distressed" and thus nobody can ever comment in general manner about biological powder ever again.

HTH.

EdlessAllenPoe · 24/05/2012 19:15

i am not allowed biological powder due to DH's desperately sensitive skin coming up like the bubonic plague!!

but i should be! YABU!!! biological powder is right. Won't somebody think of the Edlesses?

EdlessAllenPoe · 24/05/2012 19:15

'is a right'

chrst, can't even dick about without mistyping...

chugginalong · 24/05/2012 20:02

As if prove my point, only one aggressive and poisonous reply so far....

OP posts:
ShellyBoobs · 24/05/2012 20:06

Sorry if anyone feels I'm making light of another thread's subject.

Why on earth would anyone think that?

CaptainKirk · 24/05/2012 20:55

Fair enough. I wasn't to fond of the other threads subject and posted my own views. That's what made me wonder about this one...

loveisagirlnameddaisy · 24/05/2012 21:47

Crikey, Amanda Platell's busy on MN today, isn't she?

Bumdrop · 24/05/2012 22:17
