*I think she looks fine for a woman of 64 who's been unlucky with her health.
More important to me is why it provokes such a shocked reaction to see a woman on TV not a size 10, not under 35 and not bland, beige and blonde.
It is a sad reflection on how TV skews our view of woman post menopause I think.

I admire her hugely. She is intelligent, successful, warm and real, with a great sense of humour and her younger, rather handsome husband ADORES her.
Back in the day when she was very high profile ont' telly it really was hard to think of a bad word to say about her. She was highly personable and professional, and brilliant at her job. At the top of her game for many, many years. I don't think she needs to give a stuff about a few eye bags now.
