At the beginning of the year the train station in the middle of town looked like this.

The town council thought it looked tired and needed a facelift. Fair enough. A few weeks ago I nearly hit a tree when I saw it now looked like this.

Eventually the shock wore off and it started to grow on me. But then the weird shit started appearing. Today it looks like this, or from the other side.

As you can see here, it blends in well.

I'm thinking I need to stay away from the water.

Wow that is horrendous.

There is a house painted lilac down my road which now looks very tame in comparison.

I lived in goa and there was a house close to mine that was the color of th rainbow! yes it was painted in rainbow stripes. we used to giggle every time we passed it as it looked so odd sat in the middle of two beige/white houses!

I like it. Mind you, I liked the pink house we lived in in Bangkok. I've been looking for an image and failed. It was spectacularly bonkers. Really badly built and finished but unmissable.

They already do. You have to be extra careful turning into the station road now because of random cars stopped in the middle of the road by bewildered looking drivers.

My poor husband is shattered because of this. He normally leaves for work at 5.30 every morning. Walks to the station while still half asleep. Gets on the train and goes back to sleep for the 2 hour journey to work. Now he turns the corner, sees that and is instantly wide awake. :o
