To be fed up of screaming children outside

I probably am...

But the kids outside, it's all I can hear on warm evenings, bickering, screaming, shouting, arguing.

Even my DD is fed up with them and has stopped going out to play with them.

YABU and will drive yourself mad. It's been warm for one day. Get some earplugs!

Try having it from the adults!! My neighbours lovely as they mostly are stand in their forcourts drinking smoking and shouting over the street to one another!! Annoying! Kids are fine in comparison altho they dont mind bashing your car!

If they're really screaming then YANBU. I can hear kids around here playing out but they're not screaming so it's nice to hear.

YANBU to be annoyed, long as you don't turn into that woman who chases them with a brush.

Kids playing noisily outside are a pain in the arse so I reckon YANBU. Get one of those things that make a noise only young people can hear. Then retreat to your curmudgeonly cave and I'll meet you there for that from Debeez

Next door is having a flipping BBQ. Such nice smells. One day of sun and they got that organised, I had to rush out for ice cream as I was not prepared for such glorious weather.

I am sick of it already too, have had all the neighbours' kids round, shouting, yelling, bouncing on the trampoline. I'm seriously considering giving up my part-time job to go full-time, purely to avoid the long, tedious evenings of the summer months.... YANBU!
