Right I know this is fairly petty on the grand scheme of things but bloody hell! I ask for just one lie-in where I can snuggle down and snore to my hearts content but no. Spoke to DH last night and asked begged for a good quality lie-in this morming. Darling DD woke up at 5.30 (grrrr) to which DH ignored. I finally kicked his arse out of bed at 7.00 and the lazy bugger went down stairs put the telly on and went back to bed!!!! Jeepers definately grounds for divorce ... Right?!? [

Nothing wrong with putting tv on and going back to bed!

Why didn't you kick him out of bed at 530? You are being a mug. Don't blame him, blame yourself.

He's a lazy arse and you know it.

He also doesn't really like you much by the sounds of it.

Yes - I am a mug! I have recently become a SAHM after being made redundent 4 weeks ago and I'm trying ro find a good balance of 'sharing' childcare. I've never not had a job before and ridiculously feel a little guilty about not bringing in an income now. I think it's fair that I take care of the kids during the week and then split it 50/50 at the weekend.

Gumby DD is 2 and DS is 5 so the little cherubs just squabble if left unattended ... Little blighters!!!!

Ha ha ... I've just put Tom & Jerry on the telly in the bedroom, tucked the kids in next to daddy and retreated downstairs for a coffee. Mwah ha ha ... I do believe cherub number 2 is now plaing 'Spiderman' on the bed!!!!

So you've just taken on a volunteer position for 24 hours a day 5 days a week. Smart move...

When he's at work, you look after the household. When he's at home it's 50:50 surely? You shouldn't have to beg for one lie-in, kick his arse out of bed every other day, you are both responsible parents during the week as well as weekends regardless of which job you're doing or how much money each is bringing in.

...or just let him keep taking the piss out of you.
