...to think 9pm is not a good time of night to be sanding floorboards?

Because this is exactly what our PITA neighbours are doing as we speak. It's been going for about half an hour now. The noise is horrendous! Luckily DD seems to be sleeping through it at the moment.

NSDH is refusing to go and knock on the door and when I did nobody answered. :( They're ok neighbours usually but are so bloody ignorant they'll do whatever they like whenever they want to and to hell with everybody else. Angry

Crikey, do you live next door to me????

I'll go and ask DH to stop now Blush

He had to do it when DCs are asleep as dd2 is petrified of anything that makes a noise, but once she's asleep, you'd need to put a bomb under her until she's ready to wake up Grin

9pm is way too late. It's bloody noisy, isn't it?

DH was once sanding floors way too late to be sociable and way too tired, and managed to sand his way through a radiator pipe. That taught him :o.

Phew!!!

Our joined on neighbours are on their hols so we're making the most of being able to get the noisy stuff done while we can, but yes ordinarily we wouldn't be doing it at this time of night - it's far too noisy!

hassled that made me laugh Grin

babylon that's very considerate, wish I had a neighbour like you instead of our grot bag neighbours.
