I think not.

I drew the line at the mulled wine and the Pepsi with the raffle ticket still sticky taped to it.

Do it! It's that or the bin surely?

SkinnyVanillaLatte · 17/05/2012 22:24

Oh I love Lambrini Blush

EdithWeston · 17/05/2012 22:37

There are hundreds of bottles that will never be drunk. Their sole purpose is to circulate between school, Church and village fetes. You are part of a noel tradition.

CrumpettyTree · 17/05/2012 22:40

We had a bottle of Captain Morgan that we sent back to the next fair and then we bloody won it again! Couldn't get rid of it.

startail · 17/05/2012 22:40

My DSIS won some homemade tea wine at the youth club Christmas raffle.

My sweet German wine drinking DM swiftly sent it to the Guides spring jumble sale raffle.

PetitDemiWit · 17/05/2012 22:41

The Christmas before last i received a wine / wine glass gift pack. I circulated it back to a summer fayre, then lo and behold this Christmas I received it back from a parent of one of my cubs. I am pretty certain it was the same one, as the box was slightly torn in a funny way Grin

this week it made its way back to the summer fayre that it went to last year...

Release the lambrini back into the raffle circuit - tis its natural habitat!

startail · 17/05/2012 22:41

Smellies do the rounds too!

MidWeekSlump · 17/05/2012 22:43

I would.

lowestpriority · 17/05/2012 22:44

Send it back....I might win it (hopefully).

GrahamTribe · 17/05/2012 22:50

You have to. It's an old school custom, didn't you know? Grin

HappyJustToBe · 17/05/2012 22:55

YWNBU. Tis necessary.

I always liked lambrini but then I don't particularly like wine so it makes sense as it's more like pop.

Quite fancy trying the cherry lambrini

GretaGip · 17/05/2012 23:00

Oh goodie.

IANBU.

Grin

Shall I mark the bootle in a special way, so I know when I spot it at teh Autumn event? Wink

bussfucket · 18/05/2012 10:01

I helped run both school and church fetes for several years, as well as attending other local ones. There was a bottle of some dodgy looking Greek stuff that had at least 9 different patches of old sticky tape from raffle tickets being attached, eventually I looked at it very carefully and in tiny letters found a best before date of 1991 (this was two years ago). Binned it!

Greatdomestic · 18/05/2012 10:56

Not at all. I've got a large bottle of babycham I won at Christmas which will be going right back to the school next week for the summer fair.

wonkylegs · 18/05/2012 11:06

I couldn't bring myself to send back the single bottle of blue WKD won in the raffle in case somebody thought I'd actually bought it Blush, drinking something akin to drain cleaner wasn't an option so it got emptied and recycled
