It's totally your decision (in most circumstances) but you really don't have a clue what the pain is like until you're in the the thick of it ... and it's too late to back out!

I don't regret my tattoo and look fondly at it as it holds great memories (it's hidden from sight unlike my DC! Wink) so I have great hopes for my future feelings towards my children Grin

I'm being light-hearted here so it's not a 'real' comparison before anyone flames me!

It's just that I used to have the view that you shouldn't moan about children as you decided to have them ... until I became a mother of course! Now I know how damn hard it is!

You can get tattoos lasered though. Can you laser my dd please? Grin

Yes they're a lot like tattoos

Great when they're new...but you get fed up with them after a few years Grin

good luck with the not moaning part

I'd back out half way through having a tattoo though - happy to look like a twat with half a tattoo.

Apparently you can't back out of having children - a vagina with a baby coming out's a one way street Grin

Getting a tattoo is much less painful and expensive. If only I'd known that 17 years ago. Grin

I said to my tattooist that childbirth was better because I had gas and air for that....

you decide what your tattoo looks like therefore you'll always think it's pretty

children however, you need to love them even when they turn out ugly Grin

Mine didn't hurt much and they gave me jellybeans.
