and go to a party leaving occasional old people to watch him whilst fagging it?

Depends on whether you are taking crap wine and the people at the party have expensive booze, donnit?

TandB · 15/05/2012 21:29

YANBU

I will leave my 2 year-old to look after him.

lardylump · 15/05/2012 21:31

will you be 'drinking red wine from a box'?

UnChartered · 15/05/2012 21:31

it'll be ok if you leave your hungry dog in with it - the dog will bark and remind you to hurry up

I love MN shortly after a period of heavy trolling and threads going poof.

All the witty and clever people come out.

Does HQ sound a klaxon to get you all to some and divert attention away from the trolls/troll hunting?!

YourFanjoIsNotAHandbag · 15/05/2012 21:36

It's ok if there is an elderly person without a blue badge parked in the p&c parking to keep an eye on your baby whilst you smoke and drink special brew.

However if someone comes with a huge car, 1 child and a huge buggy, you have every right to block the space with your tank and make her try and park said huge in a non p&c space.

lardylump · 15/05/2012 21:37

if you are thinking about the thread i think your thinking about. You are quite safe here.... all the looneys are at the bunfight!!!!1

TheVermiciousKnid · 15/05/2012 21:37

Not a bad idea, UnChartered. But a Mumsnetter somebody might confuse the dog with an old person.

pointythings · 15/05/2012 21:38

But have you left your baby in your ?

Am seconding large vicious dog though, it could sit in the (hopelessly inadequate) storage area all prams seem to have underneath them.

Not sure about red wine though, isn't that a bit too naice? Would advice a feral blue or red alcopop instead.

YoullLaughAboutItOneDay · 15/05/2012 21:38

No, that is so mean. At least get a friend to leave their baby in the car too for company!

Salmotrutta · 15/05/2012 21:39

Yep - do it.

I'll park sidey-ways across the spaces to protect him/her.

And scowl.

TheVermiciousKnid · 15/05/2012 21:39

Do they make alcoholic fruitshoot?

ledkr · 15/05/2012 21:41

Well ive done it, hes sleeping and i left the window down a bit, there was a couple of old smokers in their rover metros waiting for their arthritic dps so im pretty sure all will be ok.
Im off to the party now,i have a camel pack filled with red wine and 40 Marlbro lights see ya!

YABVU unless you leave a parent with him.

Any parent will do.

YoullLaughAboutItOneDay · 15/05/2012 21:42
UnChartered · 15/05/2012 21:43

if you leave the babies in adjacent parking spaces, please leave the windows open so they can 'talk' to each other

and the dog can look after both?

ledkr · 15/05/2012 21:44

pointy My pram is bigger than the average car,i need it for my gigantic baby and shoplifting in mothercare.

OP posts:
Salmotrutta · 15/05/2012 21:45

Does he have a fruitshoot and a Greggs sausage roll?

linziluv · 15/05/2012 21:48

You lot really are nutters (in a good way obv :))...first time I've LOLed in a long time anyway Grin

LittlePicnic · 15/05/2012 21:52

I am Confused by all this.

pointythings · 15/05/2012 21:53

ledkr what's stopping you from parking across lines??? I mean, if you aren't taking up at least 4 spaces simultaneously you're just not trying hard enough!!!

UnChartered · 15/05/2012 21:55

i've thrown the dog a saussie roll

but it's cold, i ain't paying the added tax for someone elses babysitter

YourFanjoIsNotAHandbag · 15/05/2012 22:01

Maybe put the dog in the huge pram with the sausage roll and leave the baby in the car.

ledkr · 15/05/2012 22:01

pointy I darent do that i might wake the baby or scare of the elderly sitters, anyway im drunk on naice red wine now so no.
