warning fb related

my bil to be is normally quite inoffensive, however he posted the following status on fb

'i love earning loadsa money, I can do what I want, when I want, tenerife for new year....why not'

we are really feeling the pinch atm, I think he sounds like a twat and want kick him in the bollocks, of course I wont but the temptation is there Grin

You could ask him in a sneery condescending way why, if he earns "loadsa" money, he would go somewhere like Tenerife and not the Maldives?

It's an odd boast, no?

Tee2072 · 12/05/2012 08:27

So he has money, but no class.

BonnieBumble · 12/05/2012 08:28

I agree with butwhatdidyoudoallday. Go on put that suggestion and let us know what he says. Grin

So you could go with "Super, so will feel like absolute paradise by comparison"

[evilgrin emoticon]

robotcornysilk · 12/05/2012 08:43

what a twat

Longdistance · 12/05/2012 08:45

Tenerife Grin Not exactly tropical. I quite like Antigua, and St.Lucia myself.

Callisto · 12/05/2012 08:49

He is vulgar, and a vulgar bil would be distressing. But this fb thing is not particularly terrible and I think you are possibly being a little bit sensitive OP. Having no money does suck though, so I understand how you feel.

Yama · 12/05/2012 08:55

At least you have the comfort of knowing that all his friends will think him a twat. And if some don't, then they are twats too.

cuppateaandasliceofcake · 12/05/2012 08:55

I probably am a bit sensitive but I still think he sounds like a twat Grin

yeah he forgot to log out when he was at a friends/left his smartphone on the table with his mates when he went to the loo at the pub didn't he?

If he's not usually like this then that would be my first reaction. It is always the case when an odd FB status pops up. Usually I post ha ha serves you right for not logging out or something.

An aquiantence on my friends list who is an unashamadly Tory voter and support of Cameron did just that and her 'friends' posted a FB update in support of the BNP.

BlueFergie · 12/05/2012 09:19

Yep I'd say a case of someone else posting on his status. There are always a few gobshites who think doing this is hilarious.
