Blossom Mother and Child - Faulty jeans

hell
I am not sure if this is just pregnancy hormones running wild but here we go.... I bought a pair of Blossom jeans (I almost had to mortgage my house for them) and they fell apart within 2 days (the band came away from the jeans). I took them back to the shop and they said that it was policy only to repair the jeans even though they admitted they were faulty!
After badgering them they offered to replace them and said that they would post them. They arrived this morning (a day late) and guess what? The original jeans arrived but repaired!
Not sure if they think that pregnancy had affected my brain so I wouldn't notice but I am absolutely hopping mad! DH has told me to chill out and that at least they have been repaired but I can't help but think I have spent a fortune on a pair of faulty jeans!
What do you think?

I honestly don't understand why you'd ever pay that much for a pair of jeans for maternity.

As they were that much I'd be angry too!

OMG I just looked at their website - they are selling jeans for £281.00!!

Think pregnancy must have affected your brain if you'd shop somewhere like that!!

rights

You have right to reject goods or get repair/replacement. Reading this I don't think they are obliged to replace them rather than repair.
If you bought it on cc I would talk to them.

Personally I would have rejected them if went like that after two days at that price.

I'm sure pregnancy hasn't affected your brain and it's not illegal to treat yourself last time I checked.

I would not be happy either and would demand a refund at this point.

I agree and the staff are so rude. I went in and the lady at the cash desk was too busy stressing about an inside issue to serve me. Overpriced ugly clothes
