Am I?

Really?

I don't think so. Angry

In fact, I think I've been too damn reasonable for too damn long.

Imo it's high time I started getting really un bloody reasonable.

Great! Thankyou!

Magrathea · 10/05/2012 16:16

I'll see your unreasonable and raise you a curmudgeonly

So there Grin

LimitedAppeal · 10/05/2012 17:16

I fold.

OP posts:
MaryPorter · 10/05/2012 17:42

Ok

1st point of unreasonability:

My ex childminder terminated our contract without notice. I have paid in advance for time she hasn't worked. She wants to keep this money in lieu of notice. I am unreasonable for wanting my money back.

2nd point of unreasonability:

Ex thinks it is terrible and unethical that I work part time instead of staying at home full time and claiming benefits. As he pays me nada in child support I am unreasonable to say "you make up the shortfall that I will lose in wages/tax credits and I will consider staying at home.

3rd point of unreasonability:

My mother has "fallen out" with me. It's all my fault. I am unreasonable.

4th point of unreasonability:

Another parent can't understand why I don't feel "guilty" or expect my dc to feel "guilty" because my dc knocked her dc over accidently, causing her dc a bump on the head and a trip to hospital. I feel sad dc was hurt. I don't feel "guilty" however, so for this I am unreasonable.

I'm enjoying being unreasonable.

LimitedAppeal · 10/05/2012 21:41

VirginOrange I think you have really won the prize. You have been utterly unreasonable and for that i truly salute you. In all honest total truthesty I think you should hang your head up high. For being so damnably un reasonable un .

Your ex sounds very normal and not at all un-nice. I would buy him an ice-cream and that's quite a level of commitment. I would allow him some slack. He can't help knowing everything and being always in the right. It's something of a handicap for many people. Poor sod.

Congratulations on being totally unreasonableness and long long may it continue.

Now. I am thinking of taking Bill Gates to court. Advice needed. AIBU?

OP posts:
ToxicMoxie · 10/05/2012 21:49

How is your serve? I heard he's got a crap backhand, so it's un reasonable that you could win.

MaryPorter · 10/05/2012 22:02

Why thank you, unlimitedapparel I will back you in your quest to litigate the Gates. I think yabu but that's what I luffs about you. And Billet Hatester makes me stabby.

LimitedAppeal · 10/05/2012 22:03

My serve is very poor. I was thinking that I could be really unreasonable and ply him with absinthe and cinzano before the match, see if I can get him a bit tipsy, then go for the killer lob.

OP posts:
MaryPorter · 10/05/2012 22:06

What flavour lube will you put in his ice cream? My completely reasonable ex, no Silly Billy. Though you can also purchase him an ice cream, YANBU to expect him to fund it himself.

LimitedAppeal · 10/05/2012 22:21
Grin

I thought minty lube Virginontheridiculous. But I might go for pecan as I hear that the Great Gatesby is something of a nut so this approach might appeal.

However.

This pecan/possibly a walnut-approach seems much MUCH too reasonable for me. So I might go semtex.

I am with you on your evaluation of your ex MaryQuant and suggest you take my unreasonable advice to have the penultimate-but-one laugh: lure him back with some strappy nighties and Bill Bailey DVDs then leave his head in a paper back for the cats.

(As I don't think that is U I am teetering on the bring of turning Reasonable again. Which foils the entire first emotion of my thread.
Confused )

OP posts:
ToxicMoxie · 10/05/2012 22:45

If you serve is poor, it's unreasonble that your pour could possibly be successful.
pecans are unreasonbly expensive, use them.

MaryPorter · 10/05/2012 22:57

Yabu in the assumption that I need to lure him back. I need only snap my fingers. It would then be reasonable for me to go out to work as many hours as I wish (and then some) to provide an income.

Thankfully my fingers don't click. The unreasonable bastards that they are.

LimitedAppeal · 10/05/2012 23:54

Porter didn't you see my bit about cats and heads?

I think you would be entirely reasonable to sit at home. But don't snap your fingers under any circumstances. Do you even want him back Quant ?

You have my full sympathies.

I would kick him in the arse, tell anyone else who annoys you to take a running..

and then train it to Hove and buy a knickerbockerglory. Live a little.

Or AIBU?

Frankly I can't tell anymore if IABU or IANBU.

Do I actually know my own name or am I a chimera?
Chimera not chimenea. silly ghost poster!

OP posts:
VirginOrange · 11/05/2012 00:29

Oh good sweet Jesus, for the love of God. I do not, never, ever, ever, ever, want him back. I also love my cats, I couldn't do that to them. What if eating his head made them somehow absorb aspects of his personality?

Knickerbocker glory! Reminds me of days of yore Grin

But please tell me, where is Hove? I'm thinking its not too near Glasgow.

VirginOrange · 11/05/2012 00:30

And I have NC in honour of your UR.

LimitedAppeal · 11/05/2012 01:52

Virginorange you are utter genius. I clearly take my topper of to you.

I completely agree with the eating his head risk re the cats and the also other risk that they might therefore somehow imbibe themselves with his twuntheadfuckertity. Give that poor suggestion of mine a miss.

I would suggest though, in God's name of being utterly unreasonableailtyishnessery, that you get a map from pound-stretchers and look up Hove.

Fags. But goodness me this is an emergency.

Hove is near Slough. If you are starting from Slough. Not far from Slough anyway. It's further away if you are starting from Staffordshire but still manageable.

I must go to bed now or my life head will explode.

Night night AgentOrange and many thanks for being so madly. I have had a luffly time of it.
Apart from the bit where you said I was being reasonable. Fuck that .

OP posts:
LimitedAppeal · 11/05/2012 02:02

.....oh and just a word to foxytoxic yes. 100 per cent yes. Pecans are outrageously dear.

Bloody disgraceful when you think that Londis have just introduced their own range of jumbo salted nuts at £2.22p (or maybe 9. Or 6. I don't know actually) for a whopping bag.

I am going to write to ministry of nuts.

I am also defo going to bed as i have operation in morniongsszz. unreasonable bloddy GP making me go to hospital when my scooter is on the blink

Happy Birthday.

OP posts:
VirginOrange · 11/05/2012 10:34

Is it your birthday today, unlimitedappealingnesslyone ? If so, a big unreasonable Happy Birthday to you!

I hope everything goes well for you today Flowers

VirginOrange · 11/05/2012 10:35

Pah! Thanks

LimitedAppeal · 11/05/2012 10:46

No it's not Grin but thanks for the lovely flowers anyway. Very reasonable of you!

A bit early even for me, but Wine cheers!
