To think 3 days of antibiotics isnt enough ?

was at drs yesterday ive an infection and i feel awful , I dont think 3 days is enough i usually get at least 5 days c ant understand why only 3 days ? she did say come back if you still feel ill AIBU ?

3 days is standard treatment for urine infection- is that what you have?

YABU... Could be a different type of antibiotic that isn't designed to be taken for weeks on end. This Dr was medically qualified I take it?

Depends what the antibiotic is and what it's treating so yabu

All depends in the strength of the antibiotics. Think drs have to be careful with regards to length and strength of antibiotics in order tk reduce a patients chances of becoming resistant to them. :)

yes i have a urine infection Ok so its standard just i have had them reacurring for years i have 1 kidney ,and the last lot was for 5 days in october , thanks all i just thought it was a bit weird and yes the GP is qualified she her her diploma up on her wall and everything
