DC have been moaning and squabbling and fighting all day. The house is a hole. There is rubbish everywhere - craft debris, random twigs, leaves, owl feathers Hmm DH is off in a field somewhere doing wilderness survivial DD has been annoying the DS's, DS1 copies everything she does, which is driving me MAD, and DS2 is so clingy I haven't been able to leave his sight all day. They are finally asleep.

There isn't anything in the house for us to eat tomorrow. It's next to impossible to go out with the DC and DH isn't coming back until goodness knows when. WIBU to pop out for a few minutes to get food?

You're asking, but you're giving information as though you know you'd be unreasonable to do it.

Is you being pissed off with your DH not being back until whenever what you really want to talk about?

AKMD · 07/05/2012 20:43

Squeaky we're doing pre-chewed weaning and I just can't get them food fast enough. No matter how much I get it's gone in one sitting :(

Ask your DH to pick some stuff up in his way back from the field?

Babylon1 · 07/05/2012 20:43

Was that an actual serious question?

WYBU to leave 3 x 3 year olds while you get food?? Hmm

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 07/05/2012 20:43

no I don't think this would be a good idea

TeWiDoesTheHulaInHawaii · 07/05/2012 20:44

You are stuck for tonight.

But don't bother with a shop tomorrow, go out and have breakfast at maccy d's or similar!

Casmama · 07/05/2012 20:44

So rural you don't have an Internet connection and yet you are thinking of going out and leaving three three year olds alone? Don't be silly.

QuickLookBusy · 07/05/2012 20:44

Could you phone dh to bring something back?

Or one of you go first thing in the morning to the shop.

Do not leave your dc on their own.

FuckTheFuckOff · 07/05/2012 20:44

Are you on a wind up?

ErikNorseman · 07/05/2012 20:44

What? You can't buy enough food to last more than a day? Nonsense!

bibbitybobbitybunny · 07/05/2012 20:45

Oh ha ha very funny

TeWiDoesTheHulaInHawaii · 07/05/2012 20:45

Why are you doing pre-chewed weaning for 3yos?

Or is that the owls...

Softlysoftly · 07/05/2012 20:45

If you are that rural you don't get deliveries/Internet then how far is the shop? We lived rurally online deliveries came and our nearest shop was a ten minute drive.

I'm a bit Shock you would consider it to be honest.

NoVeggiesBeforeEggies · 07/05/2012 20:45

Is this one of those Grin fooled ya threads?

Are the triplets actually cats or something?

If not, YABU, sorry.

JaneFonda · 07/05/2012 20:45

I'm going to go against the grain here and say YWNBU.

You're rural - no chance of a break-in, I assume.

If you're within a couple of minutes of a shop, just go. Make sure none of them can get out of their room, though!

TeWiDoesTheHulaInHawaii · 07/05/2012 20:45

ohhhh

MadameChinLegs · 07/05/2012 20:46

Good lord, three three year olds left home alone while their mother goes to the shop for something none essential. Please don't.

If the shop is a couple of minutes walk away, take them all with you tomorrow. Take them to the park and pick up what you need when you are on your way home.

It's next to impossible to go out with the DC well, how you feel about this would be nothing compared to how you would feel should something happen to them while you are out.

Haberdashery · 07/05/2012 20:46

Pre-chewed weaning, eh? For three year olds? Hmmmm...

DangerousMouse · 07/05/2012 20:46

Pre-chewed weaning 3 yr olds WTF

FuckTheFuckOff · 07/05/2012 20:46

No Internet connect but you are posting ON THE INTERNET! Good one, had me going for a while there

Methe · 07/05/2012 20:46

What on earth is ore chewed weaning?

You can't leave 3 3 year olds on their own. I've got one 3 year old and he destroys things when unsupervised. I recon you'd come back from your shop to find the house had fallen down and they'd started destroying the neighbours!

LilRedWG · 07/05/2012 20:46

No internet connection, yet you are on MN?
Shop only a minute away but no neighbours?
Three year old triplets yet doing pre-chewed weaning?

I'm confused!

MadameChinLegs · 07/05/2012 20:46

Oh good lord, I didnt read to the end of the thread before posting
