I am in the car with the heating on, mntting while dh finishes packing etc and removal men load our stuff. I could be helping but three hours into it I was knackered and still have the other end to save energy for!!!! I'm pregnant btw and I packed 75 percent of house by myself. And the house is soon cold.

I was ill when we moved last. Ended up in empty front room with pot of tea and mug. Was moved to new house - ended up in dining room with pot of tea and mug, directing where boxes should go.

i am miscarrying and mid house move... on my own. if i had a choice to sit in a nice warm car and let others get on with it, i would. so YANBU.

I moved house with flu last year, it was vile and I got no sympathy. every time I was alone I sat down and did nothing. Yanbu if you can get away with it!
