It seems that some posters are so indignant with rage at other people's rudeness there is the real danger that they might all spontaneously combust.

As long as everybody is happy and healthy then I don't give a flying fig whether you eat what I cook, wear the same dress as me or use the wrong spoon to eat your cereal.

YABU HTH

GateGipsy · 30/04/2012 11:12

YBU but really funny ha ha!

I just LOVE to have a good rant about these things. It helps you so that in real life, you are able to shrug them off and not give a toss.

Plus I love love love reading them :D

TheSinglePringleWillicopters · 30/04/2012 11:13

I don't have a clue wtf a Hyacinth Bucket is!

AnyFucker · 30/04/2012 11:13

did you mean to be so rude ?? < fumes >

LadyBeagleEyes · 30/04/2012 11:14

But if they didn't moan OP, what would we talk about on AIBU?

insancerre · 30/04/2012 11:16

Hyacinth Bucket

Yanbu.

But how rude of you to point it out!

Wink
insancerre · 30/04/2012 11:28

Don't you know it's rude to tell me I'm rude?
How rude!

OP posts:
Fecklessdizzy · 30/04/2012 12:28

Deeply offended OP How COULD you be so crass! ( Flounce)

MissFaversham · 30/04/2012 12:38

HOW DARE YOU Grin

fedupofnamechanging · 30/04/2012 12:38

Maybe it's our spontaneous combustion that keeps breaking MN

RobinSure · 30/04/2012 12:50

Depends. Did Mrs. Bucket massively overuse the adjective "vile"? Because this lot do.

Invest in a thesaurus!

imnotmymum · 30/04/2012 12:53

But you must care OP otherwise how would you know about stated threads, you opened them. No one forced you.

MrsBovary · 30/04/2012 13:03

How rude of you, insancerre.

insancerre · 30/04/2012 13:08

Of course I read the threads Grin
I just see a theme developing. I really don't understand why people get so uptight about etiquette.
Everyone seems so offended at trivial things.

Vixxen · 30/04/2012 13:14

Haha i get really angry about nothing sometimes. Like, the other day the woman in front of me took ages to count out all this change for £20 of shopping!!! I was in such a rage that i totally forgot i had no purpouse that day and actually was in no hurry so it wasn't a problem. I ranted for ages to my OH afterwards too...

roundtable · 30/04/2012 13:16

I'm very offended. Very.

Name something, I bet it offends me.

In fact, the premise of this thread offends me.

BumpingFuglies · 30/04/2012 13:18

What's trivial to you may not be trivial to someone else, OP.

imnotmymum · 30/04/2012 13:20

But etiquette is not trivial is it, if we did not have a way of doing things then it would be madness !

SpanglesAreYum · 30/04/2012 13:44

Do some people come on here when they have PMT?! :o

CrispyCod · 30/04/2012 13:45

YANBU

imnotmymum · 30/04/2012 13:45

I do find that I spend all day on mumsnet when hormonal, like today when I really should be doing something else rather than eating jam sandwiches and mumnetting.

knowitallstrikesagain · 30/04/2012 13:47

YABU to be offended by people's offence.

OrmIrian · 30/04/2012 13:49

The things you refer to in your OP aren't rudeness are they?

I do bristle at genuine rudeness but not at the sort of things you are talking about.

insancerre · 30/04/2012 14:09

exactly ormirian, I don't think they are rude. But some people do because they have started threads saying how rude people are for doing those things.
I don't get why so many people are so easily offended by other people.
