To let the kids watch old James Bond films?

DH recently bought a boxed set of all the Bond films, and whilst the DC recognise they are escapist and hugely sexist, they enjoy watching them.

However, despite the fact that I annoyingly pause the DVD and point out the recurrent sexism, I am becoming increasingly uncomfortable with it.

Take this scene for example:

Feels a bit too close to a rape scene to me, except she miraculously changes her mind at the last second.

I would like to reaiterate that I have discussed the sexist viewpoints with the dc before and during viewing.

YABU. They might die of boredom... Wink

I didn't have a problem with it in theory. In practice, that scene you linked to is vile. But if your children are teens then I'm sure they've seen worse.
