Yes, it's a gratuitous attention-seeking charity thread Grin

Parkinson's UK need people to sign up to the brain donor register to help in the fight against Parkinson's.

If you'd like to know more about brain donation or other ways to help then here's some more info-

No one would want ny brain. It barely works now

TheSinglePringleWillicopters · 28/04/2012 11:22
Blush

Just read the link. They don't actually want your brain to transplant into someone else as I'd thought!

See why it would be no use Grin

Sparklingbrook · 28/04/2012 11:25

I am going to think about it. I won't be needing it will I?

Springforward · 28/04/2012 11:26

Wow. I do like the idea of telling people that I'll be donating my brain to medical science, for the good of humanity.... Grin

CrunchyFrog · 28/04/2012 12:57

I'm leaving my whole body to science I think.

I like the thought of my mum getting a little box brought back in a few years with the bits they couldn't use

Anyway, good idea, more people should do it. Grin

newyearnewattitude · 28/04/2012 13:38

I signed up a few years ago to donate my brain and spinal cord to science, i'm also an organ donor and am thinking of signing my bones up so that all that will left should fit into a tupperware box!
Grin

EauRouge · 28/04/2012 13:48

Ooh, what do they use your bones for? I quite fancy being the skeleton in the corner of the secondary school science lab so that children can use my skeleton to play practical jokes on each other Grin It'd be way cooler than having a plastic one.

Or maybe I could be a halloween decoration? I've always loved halloween.

Thanks everyone that has signed up :)
