I started selling some beauty, Slimming and inchloss. products at beginning of month. Well in your first month you have to sell £75 otherwise your charged £50, well my months nearly up and so far iv solsd 27 pound thats it. so in a week i think 50 will be charged to my account which will leave me short. I'm upset that I can't sell the products as well as the other girls.

Sorry im just ranting.

You shouldn't be selling the girls Shock

Sorry to hear that though...that seems to be how these companies flourish Sad

Olympia2012 · 26/04/2012 14:11

Nobody buys that stuff. In this financial climate?

Who are you selling to? Work colleagues?

M0naLisa · 26/04/2012 14:12

Facebook who evers interested.
Lol yeah if I could sell the girls lol

It takes a certain kind of person to sell - dp can, I can't. If you're not that kind of person, it's not going to work, nor does it make you any better or worse than the other girls.

If it's as "not for you" as it is for me, try care work. That, I can do and dp can't!

Is a good place to start promoting a fb business

Olympia2012 · 26/04/2012 16:25

Sounds like a scam!

How did you get into it in the first place?

Mrsjay · 26/04/2012 16:30

I couldnt even sell avon i was rubbish and thats a bloody book , im sorry its not worked out for you could you set up a facebook selling page and people could share it , sorry not much help

eurochick · 26/04/2012 17:44

It does sound very dodgy - the company makes whether or not you sell anything. I hope you have only signed up for one month.

Pandemoniaa · 26/04/2012 18:03

This sounds very wrong. I'm fairly sure that the targets are unrealistic anyway (this sort of rubbish unnecessary stuff will never sell well in the current economic climate) and it looks as if the company is onto a nice little earner. I hope you haven't committed yourself to any sort of time-limited contract because I have a nasty feeling that it may cost you rather more than £50.

It may well be that you have so many friends that you can be confident of reaching the target in future months. But if you've only sold £27 worth this month when, presumably, you've gone all out to promote this new business, do you think it likely you can do better?

Pandemoniaa · 26/04/2012 18:06

PS. What "other girls" are they? Only it might well be that you are being given misleading information about how successful other people are at selling these products. That's how these companies work.

YonWhaleFish · 26/04/2012 18:12

Ooo I really hate this stuff! I have a friend trying to pimp me this stuff as "it's healthier than ww and sw".

Really? Popping pills and using substitutes for meals is healthier than learning to eat properly and building a good relationship with food?

I'd get out of the game if I were you! I just had to hide said friend on fb as every status was pimping out these products and it was doing my head in. Today's was "having a great day all due to the extra energy I have from xxxx" and they're all along similar lines.
