ordered a wardrobe and bed for DD in January -v. excited

took until friday for it to be delivered -v. disappointed

DD at her dad's this weekend so planned to put furniture togther tonight after finishing work at 4.30

walk through the door at 5 g straight up and dismantle her bed and wardrobe to make room for building new
build wardbrobe which took ages because
a) it's got 2 doors, 3 drawers and a shelf
b) I was doing it by myself and using the heel of my shoe to bash the panel pins in because stupid ex took the hammer

took the new bed out of the box to build and the chuffing thing is broken!!!

DD's mattress is now on the floor (can't rebuild old one as it's broken, hence why the new stuff)
she is going to be gutted tomorrow

so I turned to Vodka!!!

AIBU because there is no one else here and I don't usually have a drink by myself lol

Fine just be sober by the time your DD comes back home.

Nothing wrong with having a drink when you are on your own, nothing at all.

Why did it take so long to be delivered? Was it handmade?? Hopefully they can deliver another one PDQ!!

took so long to be delivered because I told them the first delivery slot they offered me wasn't convienient so then according to their system I go to the back of the queue again grr grr
