It's very yuck

HolofernesesHead · 20/04/2012 15:29

Ewwww.

Popoozle · 20/04/2012 15:30

Oh I see. I didn't know what God Mummy meant. Now that I know, YANBU.

Hope that helps.

Frontpaw · 20/04/2012 15:30

A bit tooooo much I thing.

cory · 20/04/2012 15:33

Ah, I thought you meant Mary.

Frontpaw · 20/04/2012 22:12

That would be Jesus Mummy. God hasn't got a mammy.

Rindercella · 20/04/2012 22:18

YANBU. I really, really hope that's not one of my DDs' God mothers-to-be posting that (they are being baptised on Sunday). If it is, I might need to call in a replacement at the eleventh hour!

ApocalypseThen · 21/04/2012 08:22

How unbearably twee.

Pascha · 21/04/2012 08:27

I thought it was going to be an exclamation from a child when mummy does something embarrassing.

ripsishere · 21/04/2012 08:29

Me too Pascha.
How ridiculously twee.

YouOldSlag · 21/04/2012 09:19

Yuk. Twee and sickly and sounds wrong.

LST · 21/04/2012 09:26

My bf calls herself God mummy to my DS. And I see nothing wrong with it at all.

scuzy · 21/04/2012 09:28

i hate "mummy" full stop. its an irish thing. i hate mother's day trying to get a card that doesnt say mummy or mum.

prefer mammy.

but GOD mammy/mummy sounds wrong.

madmouse · 21/04/2012 09:30

YANBU that sounds gross - and ds is very close to his godmother and I to my goddaughter (who is ds's godmother's daughter lol). But that's just, no!

fortifiedwithtea · 21/04/2012 09:36

Very twee. Pass me the sick bucket.

trikken · 21/04/2012 09:44

Friend uses it all the time on fb and I must admit it does grate a bit.

LeeCoakley · 21/04/2012 09:55

Don't you think God Mother sounds a wee bit daft as well? And God Father and God Parents. A new name like Christian Mother or Faith Mother would be a more apt description.

HellonHeels · 21/04/2012 09:58

I think it's kind of sweet :)

FoofyShmooffer · 21/04/2012 09:59

It's God Mum actually.

As in

"God Mum, I've just walked in an your wiggin out already!"
