Nor to do my hair and make up today?

make up im not even dressed yet and i may not shower today becuase im not going out

People ask me if I'm feeling ill, if I don't wear make up!

Wear sunglasses all day, then you won't get told you look tired by gits well-meaning strangers

I was running late today and no time to dry my hair. So I drove 10 minutes to work with heater on blast & windows down.

It worked and I'm looking goooood!

Uh I always get told I look tired with no make up as well! Bastards.

After a month of me and DH living together, I was doing my make up one morning, and he said "why are u puttin make up on, u don't have to do that anymore cause we're living together now"
Made me LOL for ages

I half dried my hair the other week i just couldnt be bothered , i went to work my lovley but perfectly presented boss said , oh your hair is still wet (it was damp) i lied and said my hairdryer broke Hell knows why i said that

Oh these made me laugh Swiss I tried that one last sunday and it started raining I looked even worse walking about in Sunglasses in the rain

I have the hair and face of a teenager on a hormone rush...a great big spotty greasy mess.

I'm not washing my hair or putting any make up on today as I'm not leaving the house.

Lord help and poor soul that comes a knocking, you will probably hear the terrified screams!

I always go to work with wet hair but my hair is thick and curly and just goes frizzy if i attempt to use the drier on it.

Yanbu op, I have plenty of days I dont bother with make up and most days its just eyeliner if I do.

I'm amazed on the days that I do bother to do my hair and make up tbh.

I'm doing the school run not going out for the evening.
I haven't done my hair, bar the odd up job for posh dos, since I was a teenager, let it grow and gave up trying to gel and hair spray it into 80's flicks it's just not made for.

I'm currently sat in my husband's dressing gown procastinating on mumsnet working on laptop with a vague hope of getting dolled up for a party later. And praying the builder next door doesn't need to knock to go into the garden to sort their roof out.

Hang your head in shame.

I will let you all in on a little secret. If you don't normally wear make up, when you do get dressed up and put it on, everyone tells you how amazing you look I always wonder about people who apply it with a trowel just to go to the shops... How do you better it on a special occasion?!

Otoh, do not take my advice about hair. My hair looks rubbish whether I make the effort or not

I usually put make up on ever day and make sure my hair is clean and blow dried (not into a style, just dried) before I leave the house. Today is not one of those days. I didn't even put moisturiser on. Sod it.
