I want to chase you all around and force unmumsnetty hugs on you. I've been here a couple of months and find it far superior to other Parenting sites that I've used. The others have either been too fake or too controlled.

There is a great mix of people here and, while the trolls are definatelly out from under their bridges at times, there's a real sense of blunt honesty temopered with wisdom, witticism and mirth.

Hi Autumn. I have been here since October. It has been an education I can tell you. I have learnt so much, and everyone has been lovely (on the whole). I do try and stay on the lighthearted side though, I'm not one for bunfights.

This is what I find amazing, Autumn - on a very clear day here (I'm on the south coast) if you look through binoculars at the horizon, you can see the tops of ships but not their bottoms. Because of the curvature of the earth. How is that? We once watched the Russian tall ship Mir appear, from the tips of its masts until it came into harbour. I think I cried.
