AIBU to be walking down the corridor at work and burst out laughing

because I've remembered something that was posted on MN?

Yesterday I was reading a thread about a poster's mum who wanted to take care of her children whilst the poster was at work.

Today I was at work and suddenly remembered the poster had written that her mother said, "nobhead I have been thinking about what happens when DGS goes to school..." I'd thought her mum was calling her a nobhead.

Does this happen to anyone else?

Oh well, often when I am sitting at my desk at work. Must look a bit odd!

JustHecate · 17/04/2012 19:46

yup.

And always at the worst possible time, too.

Yes, always in public or in bed when dp is almost asleep and I start sniggering and shoulder-shaking

Yes and nothing you can say if someone asks why you're laughing. "Well, someone online, no, I don't know them, well, her mum called her a nobhead, well, she didn't really, she called her by her name, but her name's nobhead..."

I just read what made you laugh and it really made me laugh too, now my DS wants me to explain why I'm laughing.

This happens to me all the time, usually when someone happens to be walking past so it looks like I'm laughing at them.
