It makes me crazy, doesn't it hurt?

Stop flippping clapping.

I can hear your bones banging together.

Tbh, you all sound as though you are the types that i see at concerts etc and i want to shake you to make sure that you are still alive.

What is funny is surely subjective?

Clapping has always been a natural response to different situations, pleasure and fear.

i sneeze loud, i can not help it.

i don't mind clapping, what get on my nerves is people grinding there teeth

I love loud clapping. It's the audience's job to go nuts with delight after a great performance, imo. A polite smattering of applause means: what I have just seen/heard was meh and I clap merely to be polite.

What would the point of quiet clapping be though?

BungerBear · 15/04/2012 14:29

McHappyPants I grind my teeth. Gets on my nerves too. It started during a painful wisdom tooth period and now happens during stressy times. Wish I could stop it.

I don't mind clapping (don't quite get the double clap thing) but cannot do it loudly or for a long time due to itchy hand thing. Don't like the trumpetty nose blow thing. Don't like the screechy shrieky OH EM GEE laughs either, makes my ears bleed.

But what really grinds my gears is very loud boorish braying in restaurants. Yes you're all having such a great time , but I cannot hear the conversation at my own table four or five tables away. Just stop it.
