It's what dipsticks do.

Normal people communicate.

readyforthehills · 08/04/2012 07:40

that "father" person - from f4j

readyforthehills · 08/04/2012 07:42

Because you're a dick?

AutumnSummers · 08/04/2012 08:03

I've been top-half naked for skin to skin contac with babies but to understand the context of it in this thread I need a link.

marriedinwhite · 08/04/2012 08:28

Well, if I lost contact with my children because somebody stopped me seeing them, I would do anthing to get them back again - and that would include stripping naked and chaining myself to 10 Downing Street.

hairytaleofnewyork · 08/04/2012 08:30

Agree with married

kickingKcurlyC · 08/04/2012 08:34

I thought this was going to be about kangaroo care too AutumnSummers!

IBlameThePenguins · 08/04/2012 08:41

Married does have a point there.

Hoebag · 08/04/2012 08:55

LOL I very much doubt I would want to see a parent who had humilated themselves including me on national TV.

bunnygirl1976 · 08/04/2012 09:06

Ha - I thought this was going to be a thread about someone not getting the amazingness of skin to skin contact / cuddles :)

HandMadeTail · 08/04/2012 09:17

I get what you are saying, married, but I would be concerned that this was not likely to be successful as a strategy.

Was the naked person actually denied contact with his own children? Or was he publicising the plight of others?

I know of two cases where the father appears, from the outside, to have been unfairly treated. But neither of them are using these methods to attract attention to their situation.

CatPussWithACrownOfThorns · 08/04/2012 09:18

Ha! I knew this would be F 4 J! Let's hope this thread doesn't prompt another invasion!

CatPussWithACrownOfThorns · 08/04/2012 09:19

Presumably getting naked outside is indecent exposure? Is breaking the law the best way to get your kids back?

EdithWeston · 08/04/2012 09:21

Attention-seeking stunts have been carried out on and off for generations, and for far more reasons than contact with children. It will carry on for as long as the media give coverage.

Some causes however use far more deadly protests - such as self-immolation, but these receive next to no coverage here.
