So the inlaws have turned up again unannounced, kitchen is a mess, haven't even put all tge shopping away yet, washing in piles etc. after half an hour of being nice and making tea ds needs feeding so take home to the highchair as he has started weaning. Then when he's finished (after fil asking if I'm sure ds is alright with his finger food) I have just come upstairs to Mumsnet feed him Grin

AIBU to use bf as an excuse to get away or is it the proof being up at least 3 times every night?

No, YANBU! It's not really an excuse, it's a reason. Many's the time I've nipped upstairs to have a nap feed DD when we had visitors.

My mil used to follow me upstairs!

It would be nice if people phoned before coming round, instead of assuming that you want to see them. Can you/dh make a gentle suggestion?

Tiago · 07/04/2012 15:24

See if you can get them to do the washing up for you.

Ask them to check first before turning up unannounced
