How worried did you get with regards to bouncing ?

I've never had a flat on stomach bounce, but lots of elbows etc I'm getting really paranoid about it.
I say a firm 'No' but if its a gidd episode I end up having to scream 'Stop it now!' which I hate Sad
Due to early bleeding I've been ordered plenty of rest and not to pick up ds too much , I'm just stressing really.

Am I being hysterical over the odd bounce?

Do you allow sofa bouncing instead? I do this with DD whilst sitting on the sofa holding her hands. I think a sofa is more bouncy than a mummy.

I first read the title as being that you are pregnant, about to give birth to a toddler, and was thinking 'crikey, that would be uncomfortable!'

I frequently find myself saying to DD (2yo) no, don't lean on/kick/elbow Mummy's tummy. I've explained why (although I don't think she really understands), and this morning I blew a raspberry on her tummy and she said, in a very serious voice "No no no, mummy, baby in my tummy. Very careful. Hurt baby. No pfffttthht. Okay?" Grin

FWIW, I think it would be very hard for them do do any harm, as the baby is very well protected. But I still think it's best to encourage them to be careful nonetheless.

i'm 38 week preg with nearly 2 year old.

try not to worry too much, don't lie on the floor as this mean belly bouncing. Also if the same bed put a pillow between you, and just keep on saying be careful
