"If you can't afford children you shouldn't have them" [and] "child benefit and tax credits should be abolished" with the mantra that if she choses to be childless she should not be forced to pay for the 'breeding' choices of others.

A Facebook friend of mine. I didn't retaliate.

Hmm

@tetheresend. I see you're at the end of your tether. I'm not breeding like a farrowing sow. 1 kid. He's all I can afford.

LineRunner · 06/04/2012 19:18

We are back to the teeny tiny exceptions NOT being responsible for the national defecit.

tethersend · 06/04/2012 19:19

No, LittleTeddy, you didn't say that, you said:

"Why the hell should I pay for other women to breed like farrowing sows while I work my arse off bringing up my child at my own expense?"

Oooh, I could CnP that all day, it's like poetry Grin

tethersend · 06/04/2012 19:20

"I'm not breeding like a farrowing sow"

Oh. How do you breed then?

Is it only poor people who breed like farrowing sows?

LineRunner · 06/04/2012 19:20

There was a 'woman on the TV the other day.'

Scarily, that is how government policy appears to be set these days. Are you Theresa May?

OhDoAdmitMrsDeVere · 06/04/2012 19:21

Now I am confused
I thought poor women 'popped out babies'
now they 'farrow' ?

[buconfused]

LittleTeddy · 06/04/2012 19:22

Also I'm complaining about the clowns who think that the deficit can be eliminated simply be selling Trident and taxing a few bankers. Sounds appealing but just dreamy nonsense.

OhDoAdmitMrsDeVere · 06/04/2012 19:22

ha ha ha ha ha

Whatever you do teddy dont buy Take a Break, your head would blow clean off.

tethersend · 06/04/2012 19:22

I want to know my breeding style... Can I go for antelope?

I like antelope.

OhDoAdmitMrsDeVere · 06/04/2012 19:24

How does it work then?

As your income gets lower, your vagina gets bigger?

LittleTeddy · 06/04/2012 19:25

@tethersend. My farrowing sow analogy was intended to convey the idea of having lots of children. I have only one.

LineRunner · 06/04/2012 19:26

Female pigs are extremely responsible parents.

tethersend · 06/04/2012 19:26

That does confuse matters, MrsD- I had a cs. Will be having another.

Vagina is the same size.

Unless I get bonus points for bleeding the NHS dry?

LittleTeddy · 06/04/2012 19:26

@AdmitMrsDeVere. Hmmm... maybe poor people have more ovaries.

OhDoAdmitMrsDeVere · 06/04/2012 19:27

Your farrowing sow analogy was intended to convey your utter distain for anyone less fortunate than you.

And it did its job very well.

LittleTeddy · 06/04/2012 19:27

Must go now. Happy farrowing everybody. Toodlepip!

tethersend · 06/04/2012 19:28

Oh, right LittleTeddy- for a minute I thought it was a cack-handed attempt to belittle and ridicule.

So, how many children do you have before you breed like a sow? What's the cut off point?

And what's your breeding style, just for accuracy?

tethersend · 06/04/2012 19:29

Oh, are you off, Little Teddy?

Shame.

You didn't tell us your breeding style...

LineRunner · 06/04/2012 19:29

My breeding style involved an actual MAN.

tethersend · 06/04/2012 19:30

Wha....?

OhDoAdmitMrsDeVere · 06/04/2012 19:30

bub bye now.

LineRunner · 06/04/2012 19:32

I have found elements of this thread unedifying, I have to say. Wine

woollyideas · 06/04/2012 19:34

Oh, Mrs De Vere - you are on form tonight! [bugrin]

Whatmeworry · 06/04/2012 19:42

So - just to clarify. No limit on state benefits - ie taking other pople's money - for people who can't afford their own children is a Good Thing. Even when the state is de facto bankrupt.

And arguing that maybe, just maybe, this has to stop now, is actually a Bad Thing, nay an Odious thing, and all people who think this are Cunts.

That makes a lot of sense.....or at least explains why we are where we are now.

LineRunner · 06/04/2012 19:47

Crikey, WhatMeWorry, I hope you don't end up summarising policy documents in my office. (Well, not unless you're writing for Twenty Twelve...)
