Women hate me for being this beautiful

I mean, WTF? I clicked on the article in interest, fully expecting to see someone genuinely beautiful. However, this woman appears to be ever so slightly deluded. She has wonky eyes, a piggy nose, ugly teeth and an overly large forehead. I am not prone to judging other women for their looks, except, as in this case, when they are judging themselves unfairly.

Do you think the Daily Mail published this article 2 days too late?

She seems to be sincere! And the mail will publish any old crap without authenticating the claims made in the article Grin

MarieFromStMoritz · 03/04/2012 05:35

You think she genuinely believes it? Like Body Dysmorphia in reverse Grin ?

VegimalStyle · 03/04/2012 05:53

She wrote the article! She must believe it!
I'm watching jerry Springer atm and feel inspired to say "she ain't all that and a bag of chips" Grin

asiatic · 03/04/2012 06:29

Maybe she just isn't photogenic? Maybe she comes across more attractive in real life?

VegimalStyle · 03/04/2012 06:34

Like when the camera adds 10lbs on tv? Does it add 10uggs (unit of ugly) in the tabloids?

Maybe it's a distance thing? Does she look better the further away you get?

I'm soooo gonna get flamed for objectification here aren't I?

Elfontheedge · 03/04/2012 06:40

It's obviously never occurred to her that women hate her because she fancies herself a bit too much.

GreenEyedMunster · 03/04/2012 06:44

What a knob.

Showmethemhappyfeet · 03/04/2012 06:45

Do you think it's occurred to her that maybe she has no friends/promoitions coz everyone thinks she's a bitch who's too far up her own ass?!Hmm
I'm all for a bit of self confidence, but I can imagine all this oh it's so hard being more attractive than you all would wear a friendship through pretty quick!!

GreenEyedMunster · 03/04/2012 06:45

Oh, and Di you see the husband?
If she had her pick of men how did she end upnwithbshrek?

blueemerald · 03/04/2012 06:45

She's no flirt"

right??

GreenEyedMunster · 03/04/2012 06:46

did you see not Di

VegimalStyle · 03/04/2012 06:51

Love the 2nd link! Especially how they replaced her with models in the photos!

MarieFromStMoritz · 03/04/2012 06:54

Quote from her previous Daily Mail article:

"I?ve always dressed with the express intention to please and gratify my male bosses in the workplace."

Words fail me.

I was just reading that. Another of the DM's mentalist women columnists who is prepared to dredge up anything from her 'private' life in order to fill a column.

She is sadly deluded about her looks.

Showmethemhappyfeet · 03/04/2012 07:21

Just read the second article. W.T.F Confused

MinnieBar · 03/04/2012 07:27

Veginal - how many cameras were on her??!

I wouldn't think anything of her really, other than 'bad posture'.

supernannyisace · 03/04/2012 07:30

Blimey

I need an emoticon for [snigger]

That is all.

LovesBeingWearingSkinnyJeans · 03/04/2012 07:30

I didn't have a problem with what she was saying until she said she had flirted to get ahead at work ....then on I don't really accept that the wine, tge bar bills etc just happened.

SydSaid · 03/04/2012 07:44

Wow. I'm short and overweight. One of my best friends is slim, tall and absolutely gorgeous. Much prettier than the woman in the article. And much classier too.

If my friend came across as anything like so self-obsessed then I would not give her the time of day. It's not looks dear, it's personality.

diddl · 03/04/2012 07:51

Surely she´s not serious!

Wonder if she thinks that her husband is punching way above his weight?

fionabruise · 03/04/2012 07:55

it's the daily mail bait...not the april fool bait but their regular-get-women bitching-about-each-other-bait-to boost reader numbers

pinkyp · 03/04/2012 07:57

I wouldnt say she was ugly, alot of u do sound jealous Blush

She is pretty for 41 but personally I wouldn't think she was gorgeous etc

I think she sounds paranoid e.g " I waved at my friend who drove past but she blanked me"....I'm bet her friend didn't see her. As for the boss thinking she fancied her husband..she must be flirting without realising ESP if all her friends have the same ishoo.

VegimalStyle · 03/04/2012 08:03

I'm not jealous (I'm one of those man type people with an awesome beard!)

I think you're right about the car friend not seeing her tho.

I feel a bit sorry for her actually. Her behavior (as described in article 2) is probably so ingrained into her personality that she doesn't realise she does it anymore!

pinkyp · 03/04/2012 08:03

Just read the second article haha!! So she is a flirt but doesn't know why she gets flowers etc from random men.

I feel sorry for her that her writing wasn't good enough to further her career and the only way she could do it was by being a prick tease / taking a good knobbin by the boss Wink

MarieFromStMoritz · 03/04/2012 08:03

pinkyp, she's not ugly as such, just very plain.
