Controversial, but...it's so hilariously creepy! Starts and finishes as a touching tale but wanders quite heavily into creepy helicopter parenting somewhere around the middle.

Not to mention the "interesting" narration done by the author... here

I've just bought this book and the picture of the mum peering over the bed is a bit creepy, love the story though

What was that. . .? Just clicked the link to unexpectedly hear the strange narration ...back and forth back and forth back and forth back and forth...

. It scared me.
